These are inspired by the flags people hang
from their rearview mirrors. I've copied Goddess figures from
around the ancient world and printed them on fabric. They are
embellished with colored threads, glitter, paint, and ribbons or lace.
Grommets are inserted at the top and waxed linen and beads make them
hang-able. On the back I've stamped a different word for each one
-- something that particular Goddess may represent (i.e., Love,
Abundance, Nurture, Growth, etc.)
Because I create
them as I go, yours may have slight variations in embellishment. If there is a special Goddess you would
like represented, let me know.
